Children of Amalek

Arabs, Kurds, Christians, Alawites, and Muslims, Syrians of all backgrounds and genders marched together under Kurdish and Syrian flags, demanding freedom and Assad’s resignation. This has always been, and still is, a fight for freedom, justice, and equality long before white activists learned to find Syria on a map or pronounce 'Azadi,' the Kurdish word for freedom. Today, that struggle is threatened by revisionist attempts to rewrite history and erase the sacrifices of millions who fought for Syria’s revolution. 

After enduring sniper fire, besiegement, and the weight of a war that spared no one, he refused to give up his mission of exposing the truth. But on December 14, 2024, as he returned home on crutches from a medical checkup, an Israeli drone ended his life.

His murder is not just a tragedy, it is a deliberate attack on those who dare to document genocide. Today, we grieve not only the loss of a remarkable man but the silencing of a voice that fought to keep Gaza’s truth alive. 

Ronnie, born a Jewish Israeli: a label stamped on his ID by imposed on him by the Apartheid  state, delivers a powerful message of resistance against the genocide in Gaza and the systems of oppression that enable it.

His words challenge Germany to confront the reality of its complicity: through its government, its taxes, and its weapons.

Inspired by the White Rose 'Weiße Rose' resistance, Ronnie speaks not only to expose the machinery of violence but to demand  action. This is more than a message; it is a legacy of defiance and a  call for justice.

I  wrote this text as an assignment to process our history on Trans Day of Remembrance. I couldn't get it done on that day, but then again,  anti-colonial scientific methods do not believe in done texts.

Zionism, from inception, was entangled with various imperialist and fascist regimes, including Nazi Germany, Britain, Mussolini's Italy, and even Tsarist Russia. Different Zionist factions, like the Revisionists pursued strategic alliances with these regimes, ignoring their antisemitic policies to further their colonial and nationalist goals. Zionist leaders leveraged imperial support to establish a Jewish state, while promoting segregation, economic exclusion, and exploitation of Palestinian labor. These strategies reveal Zionism as a tool for both bourgeois and imperialist ambitions, prioritizing colonial expansion over justice. 

This article exposes the extensive history of Israeli terrorism and state-sponsored violence. It details how Israel has used cyber-attacks, military force, and settler violence to terrorize and oppress Palestinian and Lebanese populations. From the targeted assassinations of Palestinian intellectuals to the systematic destruction of civilian infrastructure in Gaza and Lebanon, the piece highlights how Israel has repeatedly violated international law with impunity. Not to forget the complicity of the international community, which has enabled these actions through silence and military support

The Zionist Organization of America (ZOA): a driving force behind the colonial conquest of Palestine. Founded in 1897, ZOA worked  fiercely to secure political backing, funds, and public support for the creation of a Jewish state; at the expense of the indigenous Palestinian population. From spreading propaganda that painted Palestine as an empty land, to financing illegal immigration and arming terrorist militias, ZOA played a central role in the ethnic cleansing that continues to shape Palestine today. 

This article sheds light on Israel's ongoing cultural genocide against  Palestinians, from destroying monuments to dismantling education, and Germany’s role in supporting revisionist narratives through its schools. We refuse to be erased. Despite relentless attacks on our identity and  history, we will resist and fight for justice and self-determination. A joint statement from Students of Palestine Leipzig and Queer Liberation Leipzig highlights a serious issue: despite the German left’s claims of fighting fascism, they have systematically excluded and even verbally attacked pro-Palestine voices, revealing the contradictions in their actions and what it truly means for their so-called fight against far-right extremism and oppression. This exclusion exposes the hypocrisy within certain left-wing circles, where select struggles are prioritized while others are conveniently dismissed.
